Margherita Missoni, known as heiress to her family’s Missoni fashion house, which was founded by her grandparents, accused American fashion designer Michael Kors in copying Missoni’s latest resort collection design. On her official Instagram account Margherita published photo taken from a Michael Kors display in New York and put a comment: ” Really @michaelkors? Is this serious?? A slight #missonifeeling #zigzagging”. One of her fellow designers, Italian Stefano Gabbana added a comment too saying in an Italian language : “Lo fa con tutti e se ne frega!!! Purtroppo nn c’è tutela!!!” which means: “He does it with everyone and he doesn’t care. Or better saying it – there is now law and protection against this!” Actually a lot of fashion followers of Margherita’s account believe that Michael Kors is actually coping a lot of freshly new collections – among mentioned are MK bags which according to her followers are total copy cat to LV bags. We will follow the scandal.
